Super inclusive illustrations, especially for a book from 2001!

I would give it a 5/5 because it is adorable and gives off a really good message in the simplest way。 I love how really any child could understand the message that it is trying to give off as everyone is different and that starts from a young age (as a baby)!

An adorable book about babies just being babies。 But this book is more than a book about babies, it's also about diversity。 I believe the inclusivity of this book is beautiful。 It's not the focal point of the book, but it makes a major impact。 Even in the part of the book, it discusses how all babies are born differently。 How they have different shapes and sizes, but they are all still the same。 And in the end, they say that the babies are loved for who they are。 This message is beautiful to tea An adorable book about babies just being babies。 But this book is more than a book about babies, it's also about diversity。 I believe the inclusivity of this book is beautiful。 It's not the focal point of the book, but it makes a major impact。 Even in the part of the book, it discusses how all babies are born differently。 How they have different shapes and sizes, but they are all still the same。 And in the end, they say that the babies are loved for who they are。 This message is beautiful to teach children, because acceptance of the self is one of the most important skills to have, especially at a young age。And the illustrations are gorgeous。 Every detail of each person within the story was beautiful and delicate。 I loved the inclusion of children of different races and ethnicities。 The story needed to tell us that this book is diverse, but you can SEE it within each page。 I absolutely loved this story, but there was something I felt was missing。 This book is supposed to be a positive and uplifting book, but the truth is not all babies are loved, cuddled, and fed。 And I wish there was some representation in that, but I also believe it is a hard topic to discuss with children。 Overall, I loved this book。 。。。more

This is great for ~2-3 year olds。 I first bought it for my oldest when she was about to become a big sister and wanted to encourage the view of babies as cute and interesting rather than competition 😉 Now they are both back into it because of a crop of baby cousins being born。 One note: picking it up now in the age of COVID was weird and sad for me as the adult。 I never had that reaction people talked about, about seeing a movie and being weirded out that people weren’t wearing masks or that the This is great for ~2-3 year olds。 I first bought it for my oldest when she was about to become a big sister and wanted to encourage the view of babies as cute and interesting rather than competition 😉 Now they are both back into it because of a crop of baby cousins being born。 One note: picking it up now in the age of COVID was weird and sad for me as the adult。 I never had that reaction people talked about, about seeing a movie and being weirded out that people weren’t wearing masks or that they were jammed together at an event。 But I absolutely had a version of that reaction seeing a book depicting babies existing in a fabric of society, interacting with people in the community of all ages, because I don’t know babies born since the pandemic who have gotten to experience that。 That said, it is an extremely sweet book with terrific pictures and if you are a fan of babies, or have a kid who is or could be, it’s a recommend。 。。。more

This is a fun story about what babies do and how they talk。 Would be a fun one to read aloud in class to young students, especially if many of them have younger siblings。

So cute!

Fi hates this book。 Doesn’t matter who tries to read it to her, she screams within a page or two of you starting it。 One star for the screaming。 We’ll give it a go when she’s older and update as needed。 Although who knows, she may just really hate the fact that there are other babies in the world。

William

Fun book to read to a two year old grandchild。

This book shows babies from all over the world。 It shows their similarities and differences but emphasizes their loving families。 It is multicultural because it shows babies of different races and ethnicities。 I'd use this in a unit talking about families because many students will be able to relate to having a younger sibling or at least a younger cousin。 This book shows babies from all over the world。 It shows their similarities and differences but emphasizes their loving families。 It is multicultural because it shows babies of different races and ethnicities。 I'd use this in a unit talking about families because many students will be able to relate to having a younger sibling or at least a younger cousin。 。。。more

Love, love, love。 I buy this book for all our friends when they are expecting。 It shows diverse families loving on their kids in all the ways。

Such a variety of characters but so relatable。 My baby loveddd looking at all the babies! The families portrayed are many colors & personalities。 I enjoyed seeing normal parent figures: a dad in boxer shorts on the couch, a mom falling asleep breastfeeding, parents bonding with their babies while getting stuff done。 Borrowed from the library, but might have to add to our home library collection。

Great!

Sweet little book。 The refrain "Everywhere babies。。。" start every two-page spread。 The illustrations show the many different ways babies are cared for。 Includes a page with "everywhere babies are eating" that has one mom nursing a baby。 Sweet little book。 The refrain "Everywhere babies。。。" start every two-page spread。 The illustrations show the many different ways babies are cared for。 Includes a page with "everywhere babies are eating" that has one mom nursing a baby。 。。。more

This book is a great story to have in your classroom or home。 It made me smile and think it could make a lot of people day after they read it。 I recommend it for lower elementary and below students。

This book is such a precious children's book。 I love the simplicity and how every page starts with the same sequence of words。 The pictures are all so cute and detailed。 I appreciate how every page shows diversity in the babies shown; white, black, asian, and hispanic babies are all shown。 They show different hair types of curly, straight, and no hair in the babies。 They show diversity in the parents of the babies。 All around this book has a cute message of loving babies just they way they are。 This book is such a precious children's book。 I love the simplicity and how every page starts with the same sequence of words。 The pictures are all so cute and detailed。 I appreciate how every page shows diversity in the babies shown; white, black, asian, and hispanic babies are all shown。 They show different hair types of curly, straight, and no hair in the babies。 They show diversity in the parents of the babies。 All around this book has a cute message of loving babies just they way they are。 。。。more

Every day, every where (a repeted phrase) babies do stuff。 The artwork is relatively basic, with a more homgenous color palette that does not seem to hold the attention。 The 14 month old loves the repetition and will say BAYYYBEEEEEES。 HOWEVER, the book is very good for a little one at this age as the depictions are very diverse, featuring people of all colors, a same sex couple, and more。

I’m addicted to reading Everywhere Babies by Susan Meyers。The rhythm is so fun, and it’s so inclusive of all styles of parents & babies。 It’s a nice break from the constant comparisons of growth curves & milestones。

I have been reading this book to my children for over 5 years and I never get tired of it。 Beautifully rhythmic, it incorporates diversity and showcases the love that parents show their children through the simplicity of every day。

Andrea

The art is fun, but with so much text crammed on to each page this is either meant for older children (3+) or parents as children learning to crawl and walk do not have the attention span to sit so long for each page's rhymes。 The art is fun, but with so much text crammed on to each page this is either meant for older children (3+) or parents as children learning to crawl and walk do not have the attention span to sit so long for each page's rhymes。 。。。more

I think that this book teaches students at a young age how to care and that there are so many of us out there。 Every day there are so many babies born and it is important for students to know that we are all different, I think this would be a good read for the younger ones。

Jeanna

A very cute book。 My baby and 3 yr old LOVE it。

Jennifer Miera

Sweet illustrations and lovely rhyming text about how much babies are loved。 Features illustrations of families of all kinds and skin tones - nuclear, adoptive, same sex parents, single parents, grandparents。 The expressions on some of the babies faces are adorable and display a wide range of emotions。

It rhymes and has a great strong rhythm plus the illustrations have some real incredible detail。 It's visually a little dated, so beware that you'll gulp a little seeing babies in front-facing car seats in the background but overall it's charming and satisfies that fascination with babies that truly little ones have。 It rhymes and has a great strong rhythm plus the illustrations have some real incredible detail。 It's visually a little dated, so beware that you'll gulp a little seeing babies in front-facing car seats in the background but overall it's charming and satisfies that fascination with babies that truly little ones have。 。。。more
